Tillotts LOGIC Education is an educational programme for gastrointestinal healthcare professionals, organised and funded by Tillotts, as part of our commitment to reinvest in the NHS. We provide award winning educational initiatives, including fully funded modules to support IBD nurse education and an annual event to encourage networking and recognise excellence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded Tillotts LOGIC to include online resources featuring the latest topics in IBD.
Tillotts Pharma UK is dedicated to providing education and support for healthcare professionals through our Tillotts LOGIC education initiatives, as part of our commitment to reinvest in the NHS. The Tillotts LOGIC education initiatives include; Educational weekend modules, educational support through the Tillotts Pharma medical team and the annual IBD Nurse Education Day and Recognition Event.
The IBD Nurse Education modules provide training and education for both newly appointed and experienced IBD nurses. The standalone modules are developed in consultation with IBD Nurse experts, and specialists in the subject matter. The modules are delivered by IBD Nurse experts with extensive experience and specialists relevant to the module.
With a maximum of 12 participants, the modules offer a relaxed learning environment that encourages collaboration and sharing between all attendees. The weekend training events are held at times and locations convenient for you, the modules are fully funded and Tillotts Pharma UK will reimburse appropriate travel costs within the regulations of the ABPI code of practice.
“Really enjoyed the weekend, I will take lots back to improve our service. Very relaxed atmosphere with informative and encouraging speakers.”
The 2021 education modules are scheduled to recommence in April 2021, places are limited and are offered on a first come first served basis. Tillotts LOGIC IBD Nurse Education Modules adhere fully to Government guidelines on COVID-19. The award winning annual IBD Nurse Education and Recognition Event was established by Tillotts Pharma UK in 2017 to support IBD nurse education, recognise excellence in improving patient care, share best practice, and encourage networking.
The Education Day provides an opportunity for discussion and sharing of best practice and aims to empower nurses with the knowledge to improve patient care, and to motivate them to make changes to improve efficiency in their service. The Recognition Evening acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of IBD nurses attending, who have developed an innovative project to improve patient care.
‘It has enhanced my learning and knowledge in my new role.
This will improve my confidence and competence in understanding my new duties and enhance patient care’
